Computer Vision Weeds ID App: Weed images needed

We’re reaching out to you as a very exciting “Computer Vision Weeds ID App and WeedScan Community Management and Communication System” project is underway.

More information on the project can be found here:

https://invasives.com.au/research/computer-vision-weeds-id-app-and-weedscan-community-management-and-communication-system/

One of the project leads Centre for Invasive Species Solutions (CISS – https://invasives.com.au/) is looking for good quality weed photos for the development of the Weeds ID App.

Thousands of photos are needed to “train the app” to recognise the weed species and that is where you and/or those within your networks come in!

If you or someone you know is lucky enough to be spending time out in the field or already has good quality photos of weeds, then please consider sending them to andrew.mitchell@invasives.com.au.
