VSTWP Community Grants:
Open: 15 May 2025
Close: 31 June 2025
The Victorian Serrated Tussock Working Party (VSTWP) is offering community groups and organisations the opportunity to apply for grants to manage serrated tussock.
The grants aim to support community groups and organisations to build their capacity to achieve long-term voluntary management of serrated tussock.
Grants of up to $5,000 (GST excluded) are available to deliver a project that meets the priorities and criteria outlined in the guidelines.
The grants promote collaboration between community groups, local government, and the VSTWP in the best practice of management of serrated tussock. A key objective of the grants is to support community groups and organisations that have been actively controlling serrated tussock over a number of years.

Agriculture Victoria Grants:
Agriculture Victoria administers a range of funds, grants and programs across different sectors and regions.
Agriculture Victoria currently has community grants available through the Partnerships Against Pests Grants Program (PAP). The current round of funding is worth $500,000 and will help community groups deliver workshops and resources, including fact sheets and videos showcasing best practice management tips. It will also help to promote collaboration between neighbours and wider communities.
Grants worth between $10,000 and $50,000 are available to a wide range of agricultural and environmental volunteering organisations, including Landcare groups and networks.
A further $250,000 has also been allocated to Victoria’s four Community Pest Management Groups – allowing them to expand their reach statewide and strengthen partnerships with local communities.
The new funding will support the Government’s new Biosecurity Strategy, which states the need to reduce the impact of established weeds and animal pests through local action.
